With devices getting smaller and smaller, the need for mobile offices has dropped over recent times. The Samsonite GUARDIT, version 2.0, is thankfully retained for those designers and large-screen laptop users needing space to house a 17″ laptop with more than enough overnight capacity.
Two main sections offer easy access zippers to get to your contents: a 17″ laptop section with sleeve and additional pocket for table that is closed with an elastic belt and held firmly in place. The larger, higher volume area is good for clothing and includes retainer straps but also doubles a large file or paperwork area should you not need the overnight functionality. Finally, a front smaller zipper pocket offers you an additional storage and organising space.
The Rolling tote is built on 2 sturdy wheels but also includes a rear strap to quickly attach to other rolling luggage should you need to. Multi-stage telescopic handles complete the carry and drive system.
A wonderful and fair-priced Samsonite product with good looks and weight advantages and is ideal for overnight mobile office users needing larger space for bigger screens. One drawback is the need for a separately purchased lock and lack of a USB charging port but other than that, a lot of digital nomad boxes are ticked
